We care about people. More specifically, we care about Floridians.
Why? Because that is who we are. A couple of Native Floridians who want to help people understand insurance. That is why we are Locals helping locals understand risk.
After working in an insurance office all day every day, you start noticing that you explain the same things to people on a daily basis. The realization was that most people do not know what coverages they have, what those coverages mean, and why they should have them. People in general seem to know that insurance is expensive, confusing, and in some cases mandatory.
That is how this website came to be. We decided we wanted to talk to people like they are people. We encourage open, honest discussion that isn’t meant to confuse or belittle. The goal is to educate people enough to know what is covered on their own policies, what is not covered, and why it is important to be protected. Nobody wants a lawsuit brought against them and not many people have enough money to rebuild their house if it were destroyed. Insurance is a necessity that isn’t going away. Please ask us questions and we will answer them in an easy to understand way, and if you are still confused, ask for more clarity! We honestly want to help our fellow Floridians.
